Next week will be a big one in the shop so I thought I’d give you a little preview of what to watch for:
December Birthstone
Our final birthstone of the year is coming! I’ve named it December Tanzanite, but I took inspiration from all five (!!) December stones: lapis lazuli, turquoise, tanzanite, blue zircon, and blue topaz. That’s a sneak peek above.
Birthstone + Birth Flower Vault
We’re bringing back all of this year’s birthstones and last year’s birth flowers in a big birthday celebration. As always, we will ship as soon as possible but it may take up to 3 weeks for us get your order in the mail. All our birth stones and birth flowers will be available to order until the end of the year.
Studio Seconds Sale
We’ll also have a small batch of seconds - skeins that are beautiful on their own but we can’t sell as one of our standard colourways. Quantities are limited and vary widely, so things may disappear quickly.
If you're hoping to snag some seconds, I recommend checking out right away with those and then coming back to browse without any pressure. You’re always welcome to place two orders and email me after so I can combine them and refund extra shipping.
So, why all at once?
A couple of reasons: First, no one loves paying for shipping (me included), so bundling everything together gives you a chance to save on that.
Second, this time of year is a bit weird for small shops like mine. We don’t move at Amazon speeds, and our pricing is already carefully considered, which means there’s not a lot of room for last-minute deals, let alone huge blowout sales. It’s hard to be heard over the noise, so we will stay focused on making beautiful yarn and hopefully inspiring you to (slowly, thoughtfully) turn that yarn into your own beautiful creations.
