Introducing Tamarix!

Big congratulations to Ksenia Naidyon on the release of One Skein Knitting. This book has 18 one-skein accessory patterns and one of them, the Tamarix socks, was written with self-patterning yarn in mind. It's a lovely chevron-and-rib pattern with an afterthought heel, designed to let a gradient or self-striping yarn do the talking.

I worked with Ksenia to create a self-striping colourway, also called Tamarix, that fits into the gorgeous colour palette she used throughout the book.

I thought this post would announce that Tamarix is in the shop now, but it sold out within a few hours of me sending out my newsletter! I'll restock once I'm back from Knit City Calgary in October.
