Knitting for a good cause.

Every June, designer Ann Budd hosts a fundraising event for Alzheimer's research. This year she created a new Fading Memories Cowl (Ravelry link), a beautiful two-colour slip-stitch project worked with a solid and a gradient.

Ann is hosting an all-day Zoom knitting session on June 14. Our friends Barb and Cynthia of Yarniversity are participating and I’ll be zooming with them on the 14th. We'd love to have you join us!

For Gauge’s contribution to the fundraiser, we have created two colourways for Ann’s cowl pattern and will donate five dollars from every skein sold to Ann's fundraising page.

Wildflower Memories (top photos) has a vivid purple-blue-green gradient paired with a pale grey.

Opal Memories (bottom photos) has a pastel purple-blue-pink gradient paired with a deep purple.

Each 100g skein winds into two 50g halves, one solid and one One-Way Trip gradient, so everything you need is in one skein. All orders will ship before the end of May, in time for the June 14 event.
