I have a few things to share this week:
1. Cecilia Campochiaro's new ebook launches February 14
It's called Beat Frequencies, and some of our yarns will be featured in it. I'm very excited about it! Cecilia's work is so thoughtful and interesting and this collection is no exception. It features two different reversible stitch patterns, each with a simple repeating pattern, that interact with colour beautifully. The scarf in the photo above pairs a 150 g skein of Seventy-Six with a long grey gradient that I will have available in the shop next week.
2. Our Valentine's yarn is back in the shop
Candy Hearts was inspired by those chalky little conversation heart candies and works beautifully with Andrea Rangel’s Sweetheart Socks pattern.
3. April is shawl knit-along month
We host a KAL every second month and next up is Shawls! Join us in April to knit any shawl pattern with Gauge yarn. I will have lots of shawl yarn options in the shop starting next week but stash yarns are welcome too.
4. Goldstream comes back February 18
Speaking of shawls, one of our favourite shawl yarns will be back next week. Goldstream makes for simple and fun knitting with stunning results. The finished shawl looks like a painting to me - artsy-farsty in the best possible way. I’ll have all six colourways back in the shop next Wednesday.
