U.S. Shipping Is Open Again!

We’re happy to let you know that U.S. shipping is officially back open!

All of our yarn is duty-free under CUSMA (the Canada–U.S.–Mexico Agreement), and we’ve taken care of all the required paperwork to keep things smooth at the border. We’ve also increased our shipping rates to cover new customs and brokerage fees, which are now part of shipping to the U.S.

What does this mean for you?

You’ll still receive your yarn by USPS, and you won’t be charged anything extra when your package arrives.

Behind the scenes, we now pay:

  • A small fee to our customs broker to clear each item, and
  • A less-small-but-still-manageable fee to U.S. Customs and Border Protection to process each package.

I've included a line at checkout that I hope doesn't cause any confusion: shipping "includes any duties and brokerage fees". Since you're reading this, you already know that duties are zero, so it might seem strange to mention it. But I will assume that most customers won't know the details and the important thing is that they don't have to worry about additional costs when their yarn is delivered!

Thanks again for your patience while we worked through all of this. We’re glad to be shipping to our U.S. customers again!

For those who are wondering, the pastel yarn in the preview image is our October Opal.
