Yarns Specs and Pricing

Yarn may be machine washed and dried in cool water on a gentle cycle, but for best results, hand wash in lukewarm water and lay flat to dry. 

Yarn specifications are provided by our mill. We wind each hank ourselves based on length, and so weight may vary by +/- 5 g. 

We dye a wide range of striping patterns intended for everything from socks to shawls to sweaters. We aim to have full knit samples for all of our offerings, and they can be found by entering the colourway name in the search bar at the top of our website.  

Any white or pale-coloured yarn at the ends of the skein is scrap and should be discarded.

 

2-Ply Fingering: 100% superwash Merino

A soft yarn with beautiful drape, this is an excellent choice for shawls, scarves and other accessories.

A hardwearing and versatile yarn, this is soft enough to wear beside the skin, but hardy enough for socks.

MCN Fingering: 70% superwash Merino, 20% cashmere, 10% nylon 

This merino/cashmere blend is soft and buttery for next-to-skin wear, with  nylon providing extra durability. This versatile yarn is suitable for everything from shawls to hats to socks.

Merino Sport: 100% superwash Merino

This soft and durable merino yarn is just right for a quick pair of warm socks, a cowl, a hat or even a baby sweater.

Our fan-favourite sock yarn. This soft and durable merino/nylon blend has an unusual 8-ply construction giving it great bounce and strength.

Merino Twist Eco Fingering: 80% treated Merino, 20% nylon

The wool is this yarn is GOTS certified organic. It has been treated with a more environmentally friendly process than traditional superwash wool.
