Photo captures the mood (but not the actual yarn) I have in mind for the club. Lately I've been inspired by subtler palettes and simpler designs.

I'm changing things up a little from previous clubs: parcels will ship every second month in January, March, and May, giving you a little extra time to finish your project before the next one arrives. Colourways will be suitable for socks, mitts, cowls, or other one-skein accessories.

Each shipment will contain one 115 g / 4 oz skein of Gauge Dye Works self-patterning yarn for a total of three skeins. Two skeins will be fingering weight (Merino Twist and MCN), and one will be a new, heavier-weight base yarn. Yarn club does not include patterns. Colourways are exclusive to the club for one full year.

For an idea of what to expect from our yarn club, see here for past examples.

Club members can purchase additional skeins of the club colourways and can combine other orders with club shipments - just email me at info@gaugedyeworks.com.

Club prices include Canada Post / USPS shipping within North America. Customers who would like FedEx shipping, there is an additional $11 per shipment = $33 total. Select FedEx at checkout and I will be in touch with a payment link for the difference. My payment system isn't well set up for this special case, sorry for the awkwardness.

Striping Patterns

Round Trip "There and back" with two matching halves—perfect for projects like socks. One 100 g skein of fingering weight is enough for an average-size pair of women's socks. For longer or wider socks, choose the 150 g size.

One-Way Trip A long, non-repeating color sequence, great for hats, cowls, or scarves. For a Musselburgh Hat, 100 g of Trifecta or MCN is enough for a size L hat but you will need 150 g if you'd like a wide, folded brim. 4-Ply has more yardage so 100 g is enough to make a folded brim.

Shawl Yarn Specially dyed for top-down triangular shawls. Each stripe is the same width from beginning to end, with no ends to weave in. 100 g of fingering weight is enough for a small shawlette. 150 g gives a more generous size. If you want to maximize your yardage, choose our 4-Ply sock yarn.

Sweater Yarn  Designed for garments like baby sweaters. The stripes appear only on the yoke, and the rest is a coordinating solid color—no switching yarns or breaking the flow.
