Our August collaboration with Andrea Rangel is here! We've worked together to design yarn and a pattern that compliment each other. As always, we are keeping some of the details a secret, but here's what we can tell you:
- August’s project will be a shawl.
- The pattern is written for two sizes: one or two skeins (approx 400 yds or 800 yds). The wingspan of the final shawl is 120 cm (47") for the smaller size and 168 cm (66") for the larger size.
- The pattern and yarn are a secret, but we've put together three colour palettes for you to choose from: spring, summer, and autumn.
- You will receive one pdf knitting pattern and your choice of either one or two skeins of self-striping yarn.
- Yarn will ship mid-August.
- Yarn will be our fingering weight MCN (Merino/ cashmere/nylon).
-
Colourways and patterns are exclusive to the club for one full year. Spaces are limited.

Striping Patterns
Striping Patterns
Round Trip Designed with two matching halves—perfect for projects like socks, mittens, or sleeves where you want identical results. One 100 g skein of fingering weight is enough for an average-size pair of women's socks. For longer or wider socks, choose the 150 g size.
One-Way Trip A long, non-repeating color sequence. Great for hats, cowls, or scarves—ideal when you want a journey through color from start to finish. For a Musselburgh Hat, 100 g of Trifecta or MCN is enough for a size L hat but you will need 150 g if you'd like a wide, folded brim. 4-Ply has more yardage so 100 g is enough to make a folded brim.
Shawl Yarn Specially dyed for top-down triangular shawls. Each stripe is the same width from beginning to end, with no ends to weave in. 100 g of fingering weight is enough for a small shawlette. 150 g gives a more generous size.
Sweater Yarn Designed for garments like baby sweaters. The stripes appear only on the yoke, and the rest is a coordinating solid color—no switching yarns or breaking the flow.
