September Asters : One Way Trip
September Asters : One Way Trip
Happy birthday, September babies!
Asters are September's birth flower. They are almost always a beautiful purple colour with a pale yellow center, and I got the idea that each sock should look like an individual petal in a larger flower
Rather than stripes, I designed the yarn to be a beautiful non-pooling mix of purples, with a "micro skein" of yellow at one end. For these socks, we added the yellow one row before starting the toe decreases so that the petal ends at the center of the flower.
