This listing is for the 2023 club. Here is the 2024 club

It's club time again! Come join us for a collection of cozy, colourful self-patterning yarn.

Our colour inspiration this year is RAINBOW.

Here are the details:

  • The club colourways will be a secret until they ship. A little mystery is part of the fun!
  • This club has a total of three shipments. Yarn will ship mid-month in January, March, and May.
  • Each month you will receive one skein of fingering weight yarn. (2 will be regular 115 g / 4 oz skeins, 1 will be an XL 170 g/ 6 oz size)
  • The yarn will be designed with different accessories in mind - a pair of socks, a shawl, and a hat.
  • This is a yarn-only club. Patterns are not included in the cost, but we will have knitted samples and suggestions to help you decide what to do with your yarn.
  • Colourways are exclusive to the club for one full year.
  • Sign-ups will be open until December 31 or until we sell out. Spaces are limited.

For an idea of what to expect from our yarn club, take a look at what we did in 2017, 2018 and 2019.

Club members can purchase additional skeins of the club colourways and can combine other orders with club shipments - just email me at support@gaugedyeworks.com.

Striping Patterns

Round Trip Designed with two matching halves—perfect for projects like socks, mittens, or sleeves where you want identical results. One 100 g skein of fingering weight is enough for an average-size pair of women's socks. For longer or wider socks, choose the 150 g size.

One-Way Trip A long, non-repeating color sequence. Great for hats, cowls, or scarves—ideal when you want a journey through color from start to finish. For a Musselburgh Hat, 100 g of Trifecta or MCN is enough for a size L hat but you will need 150 g if you'd like a wide, folded brim. 4-Ply has more yardage so 100 g is enough to make a folded brim.

Shawl Yarn Specially dyed for top-down triangular shawls. Each stripe is the same width from beginning to end, with no ends to weave in. 100 g of fingering weight is enough for a small shawlette. 150 g gives a more generous size.

Sweater Yarn  Designed for garments like baby sweaters. The stripes appear only on the yoke, and the rest is a coordinating solid color—no switching yarns or breaking the flow.
