It's time for the third project in our summer club with Andrea Rangel! This project was inspired by the colours and textures of a rocky Pacific shoreline.

As always, we are keeping some of the details a secret, but here's what we can tell you:

    • You will receive one skein of yarn and a coordinating cowl pattern. The exact colours and project details are a secret!
    • Yarn will be our fingering weight Merino Twist (Merino/nylon).
    • Pattern will be in PDF form and download instructions will be sent to the email address used for this order.
    • Colourway and pattern is exclusive to the club for one full year. Spaces are limited.

If you have already signed up for the full summer club, there's no need to do anything. The August yarn will be heading your way in a few weeks.

Wondering what the club will be like? Take a look at what we did in previous years or read our summer club FAQ.

Club members can purchase additional skeins of the club colourways and can combine other orders with club shipments - just email me at support@gaugedyeworks.com.

    Striping Patterns

Round Trip Designed with two matching halves—perfect for projects like socks, mittens, or sleeves where you want identical results. One 100 g skein of fingering weight is enough for an average-size pair of women's socks. For longer or wider socks, choose the 150 g size.

One-Way Trip A long, non-repeating color sequence. Great for hats, cowls, or scarves—ideal when you want a journey through color from start to finish. For a Musselburgh Hat, 100 g of Trifecta or MCN is enough for a size L hat but you will need 150 g if you'd like a wide, folded brim. 4-Ply has more yardage so 100 g is enough to make a folded brim.

Shawl Yarn Specially dyed for top-down triangular shawls. Each stripe is the same width from beginning to end, with no ends to weave in. 100 g of fingering weight is enough for a small shawlette. 150 g gives a more generous size.

Sweater Yarn  Designed for garments like baby sweaters. The stripes appear only on the yoke, and the rest is a coordinating solid color—no switching yarns or breaking the flow.
